Equine Dentistry is such an important part of keeping your horse healthy. Eating and digesting food properly are life-preserving acts. The role of an Equine Dental Technician (EqDT) is to help horses maintain good oral health through preventative care, maintenance, diagnostic care and non-surgical treatment.

I have chosen to work exclusively with hand instruments.  This allows me to do the majority of my work on unsedated horses. There are some horses that will require sedation, and in that case I am happy to work on a horse that has been sedated by you or your veterinarian. I am not a vet and will not sedate your horse. 

I am an avid horse lover and owner. I take great pride in the mouths that I touch.  Helping your horse be more comfortable, utilize its feed more efficiently, and perform better are all benefits of being an Equine Dental Tech!

I am available to speak at 4-H Meetings or Pony Club meetings or other informative clinics on Equine Dentistry.  Equine Dentistry is such an important element of a healthy horse.  I'm so thrilled to be part of it!
